Philip Whitten - Pasco Area Director
Philip Whitten is the newest member of the FCA Tampa Bay Family. Philip and his wife, Jennifer, live in Pasco County where Philip will serve as the Area Director. FCA has never had a staff member responsible for this area and we are all excited about future growth. Philip has a passion for Jesus, people and athletics, and believes he has been called to the ministry to show Christ’s love to students and coaches using the gifts and talents he has been given.
Philip is a graduate of Land O’ Lakes High School, where he was a member of FCA. He played many sports when he was young and played baseball through college. As a student athlete he became very aware of the need for an organization like FCA, recognizing that coaches and students alike are searching for the truth. As a volunteer, he has taken football teams to Fall Kick off, and participated in Coaches Time Out Conference.
Philip is grateful for all the support he has received. His goal is to continue building a strong “Home Team” by including the younger generation, encouraging them that no gift is too small in furtherance of the gospel.
FCA will provide Philip with a wide open door to live out his passion by showing God’s love to those he encounters, as it says in John 13:35 “by this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
